Become an Apprentice
The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers accepts capable individuals into our trades through our registered apprenticeship program.
Apprentices EARN while they LEARN
Not only do apprentices gain much needed, hands-on training inside and outside of the classroom, but they also earn a living wage from day one. Unlike traditional post-high school education, apprentices do not accumulate tens of thousands of dollars in student loan debt and have the ability to build a solid, stable middle-class life.
Consistent across the country with every Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) registered apprenticeship program, apprentices are paid escalating wages while they are being educated. Every year your wages increase as your industry knowledge and skill set grows.
All Mechanical Insulation Workforce Training includes:
- OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Safety Training Courses
- Asbestos Removal and Mediation
- Lead Removal and Mediation
- 3E Energy Audits
- CPR and First Aid Training Courses
- Professional Code of Conduct Program
